You're in... now what? Don't sweat it!
Here are the answers to the most common questions about the competition to help you feel confident, prepared and ready to tackle the next six weeks.
-
Simply get involved in the following activites across the six-week competition:
Hit the gym - Scan in at Fitness First or Goodlife to earn points, up to once per day, and book your weekly VMO training session.
Watch and complete the weekly quiz - Watch the weekly webinar, then complete the 10-question quiz to earn points for every correct answer.
Build your Mental Fitness - Complete any five exercises in the Gotcha4Life Mental Fitness Gym app during the competition to earn more points.
Your points add up across the six weeks (follow your progress on the leaderboard), with your total score carrying through to the final event.
The final is a one-off event designed to test the skills you’ve built across the six-week challenge, with the top male and female competitor in each state crowned Ultimate Media Champion. -
If you already have an active Fitness First or Goodlife Health Clubs membership, don’t sweat it. By signing up for the Ultimate Media Champion, you’ll receive a complimentary three-month membership, which will automatically pause your existing membership and any associated payments for that period.
As long as you signed up using the same name and mobile number linked to your current membership, the two will be connected automatically in the system.
-
Not at all! The Ultimate Media Champion is open to participants of all fitness levels. Whether you’re just starting out or already train regularly, it’s the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, build confidence and see what you’re capable of.
-
You can expect tailored fitness sessions that progressively build in intensity over the six-week competition period. Each circuit-style workout is designed to improve your strength, stamina and technique, while preparing you for the types of exercises you'll face on Finals Day. Every session gets you one step closer to being Finals Day ready.
-
Wear your most comfortable activewear, bring plenty of energy and get ready to break a sweat! Enclosed footwear is a must.

If you're unable to attend a session due to illness or injury, please cancel your booking via your Koalendar confirmation email so your spot can be made available for someone else. Unfortunately, missed sessions will result in missed points.
